 A special fund raising effort

 Introduces prospective members to the Council activities. Works with new members, finding a place for them on a committee. Promotes and orchestrates participation in council activities.

 Responsible for purchasing goods to maintain the stock of the bar and arranging for the bar to be open and manned at all Knight functions.

BUILDINGS J. McMahon
 Arranges the building needs of the council with the parish office. Scheduled events need to be reviewed and placed on the planning calendar in the parish office. Planning the opening and closing out the building will also be duties of the Buildings Chairman. Set up should be reviewed and coordinated between the Building Chairman and the person heading the function.

 Coordinates knights activities that involve the church physically, Mass details etc. Works with office personnel in making arrangements. Is the contact for the parish office staff to alert us of the parish support needs from the Knights.

COMMUNICATION E. Martineau
 WEBSITE: Plans and executes the websiteforthe council.Keeps current and up to date information and calendar. Recommends improvements and coordinates information with the Editor. CLARION Prepares the Clarion for publication in a timely manner. Supplies the parish office with items for the bulletin Weekly. Collects articles and items of interest for publication.Puts together programs for special events.

COMMUNITY W. Graef, G. Kinzie
 Support the Outreach Committee at the Parish. We will need to meet with outreach on a regular basis and make the council aware of how we can support their efforts. Need to set up some form of communication for sick or hospitalized council and family members. Committee to set up visitation and needs assessment for the families. Waverly Road Adopt-a Highway program. Coordinate and assist the Youth Director in contacts and projects for the Parish Youth.

 Coordinate Knights activities. The Council Director has the important task of overseeing Knights activities for the good of the order. Areas of responsibility not limited to: Socials, Special Events, Public Functions, Fraternalism. This involves the planning of Events and the coordination of details surrounding the event. Ideas for creating and maintaining an active and Fraternal Council. Coordination is instrumental in working with all other Directors so that each unit come together as a whole to provide a successful and fun event for all.

 Responsible for planning, staffing and implementing all First Degree ceremonies for the Council. This includes ordering all necessary supplies and materials through the Financial Secretary

 Communicate Family of the Month selection to Supreme Monthly. Survivors' Assistance - maintain contact with widows and children of deceased members. Notify Supreme of the death of a member. Helps to coordinate the Memorial Mass. Assists the Youth Director in ways of Supporting the Parish Youth and Family structure.

FUNERAL COORD. T. Cardea
 This position works very closely with the parish office, is notified immediately upon the death of a parishioner, informs the office of the Council member status of the deceased and the level of Honor Guard participation that can be provided. The Office, in the meeting with the family to plan the funeral informs them of these options and obtains the family’s wishes regarding Council participation (EM’s, Lectors, Ushers, Pall Bearers, Honor Guard, etc.). The coordinator arranges for these services and communicates details regarding the services and Council participation (eg, tuxes, suits, badges etc…) as well as working with the Corp Commander to arrange Honor Guard participation and arranging for the preparation of the Resolution for presentation at the funeral.

 Plan and organize golf activites for members. This can include a golf league, tournaments, mixed events, award dinners, etc.

 Responsible for the development, maintenance, training and use of all items utilizing PC technology. This includes, but is not m limited to the Council website, interactive database, electronic newsletter creation and dissemination, email distribution list and project orieented support items.

 Develops and implements improvements to the content, form and distribution of the Council newsletter. Prepares the newsletter for publication in a timely manner.

 Organizes activities of the council in regard to the Operation Hope Campaign. Contacts and Arranges times and Dates with the stores. Schedules times and coordinates staffing of the Council Members and others for Tootsie Roll Sales. Collects Monies from the locations at regular intervals. Counts and Arranges reports to the council of progress.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR D. Diaz
 Normally the Deputy Grand Knight- Responsible for the activities of the basic 5 directors and their committees.The basic 5 directors are Church, Community,Council, Family and Youth. It is the duty of this position to be sure the basic 5 are meeting, planning and executing the programs that fall into their respective areas. In addition, the Program Director leads the directors reporting to the council at the monthly business meeting

 Coordinates all Pro-life and anti- abortion activities. Supports Birthright. Is the Councils active representative to the community and the parish supporting Life. Keeps the council abreast of changing issues and needs to support the unborn and their parents. March for Life.

PUBLIC RELATIONS R. Pelletier
 Is responsible for the Public Relations of the Council. Contacts newspapers and coordinates coverage of events of Council 11028 that warrant public or parish notice. Helps to promote Knights Events. Records through pictures Knights activities and keeps council History book up to date.

 Is the Primary recruiter of the council. Takes the lead in promotion and joining 11028. Is always actively promoting membership

 Coordinates the distribution and collection of the State Raffle books to the council membership. Distributes, records and collects all monies. Promotes Campaign within the Council. Communicates needs and progress to the Council.

 Coordinates issuing of council certificates. Has the responsibility of making council recommendations for the support of our Seminarians. Has the responsibility of making council recommendations for the support of our Troops. Also coordinates the Details of both.

YOUTH K. Moravek
 Coordinate Knights support for the junior youth, senior youth and Religious Education leaders of the parish. Knights Scholarship. Promote youth service in the Parish ministries, not limited to: Alter Servers, Cantor, ,Choir, CCD- Co-Teacher, Extraordinary Minister, Ushers.
